After missing both Friday sessions and Saturday Qualifying, we were thrilled to see the skies open up for the first National. Starting last we managed to drive through the field twice and win a race in which every T2 driver led at one point.

        1) John Baldwin, Jr. (STi) - 1:42.2
        2) Phillip Waters (Camaro) - 1:42.4
        3) Rick Kulach (350Z) - 1:45.1
        4) Wade McBride (350Z) - 1:48.8

Sunday’s National was a different story. After one hot lap in Qualifying  it was evident that the right rear Hoosier was rubbing the fender significantly in NASCAR 4. So perhaps the apron was the safe line for the race. Not so, with another victory in reach the right rear tire let go coming into the tri-oval at TMS. A moment when I’m thrilled to take 4th place honors.

        1) Rick Kulach (350Z) - 1:35.8
        2) Phillip Waters (Camaro) - 1:36.2
        3) Wade McBride (350Z) - 1:37.1
        4) John Baldwin, Jr. (STi) - 1:35.2
