1966 Jaguar XKE GT-2
This record breaking Jaguar has  uncompromised build quality and specifications. After a ground up build and restoration, this XKE competed in the SCCA GT2 class. In it’s first appearance in June, 1998, this Jag set a new track record en route to a first place finish at Sebring. In the ensuing three race seasons, the car competed in regional and national events,  never finishing lower than third place.

In 2001, with minimal modifications made, the Jag was eligible and competed in several categories of land speed record breaking attempts at Maxton Mile in North Carolina. On June 25, 2006, this car set four speed racing records including, Unblown Gas Modified Sports category at 144.422 mph, the Unblown Gas Modified Sports category at 141.607 mph, the Gas Circle Track category at 137.726 mph, and the Gas Circle Track category at 143.760 mph.

Today this Jag is fully race prepped for historic racing with groups such as HSR and SVRA and is cosmetically presented in club Concours standard. 

Suspension --- adjustable sway bars front and rear, Carrera coil over shocks, and an XJS rear suspension.
Diff --- 3,73:1 powerlock
Brakes --- rebuilt and fitted with Coleman discs.
Engine --- re-engineered with Venolia pistons, ported head, custom Crane cams, triple Weber 42mm carburetors, an ATI super damper and a specifically designed electromotive crank trigger ignition system.
