Runoffs Rookies we were as we set off to Topeka ... via Atlanta ... back to Louisiana for a quick tranny swap (thanks to the guys in the shop and the dealer’s 05 STi demo/parts car) ... and up to Kansas. After all the subsequent drama a blow out on the rig at this point is a mere opportunity to stretch the legs. So, just over two and a half days after our initial departure we pull into Heartland Park Saturday afternoon.

Our 2007 season, while short and condensed, was eventful to say the least. Without the help of everyone that crewed, pitched in at the shop, and gave of their time and energy, the season would’ve been short lived and simply not possible. Bear in mind that, as we competed in a new car and class, the 2007 season was also Christina’s first season of motor racing ... ever! That’s right, from pre race planning to Crew Chief duties, she did it for the first time and did it well. Huge thanks!

With an early exit to the 2007 Runoffs event, we look forward to seeing everyone that make this sport what it is with even greater excitement next season. See you next year!
